Fact: Life is better with cookie dough

Sometimes I just crave something sweet.

I have been attempting to eat dairy free and gluten free since September. To be honest, I went 30 days and I haven’t done another full 30 days since. I usually cheat a couple times a week. It’s all about balance, right?

Personally, I fine it easier to be dairy free than gluten free.

We are getting off track. Back to the idea of something sweet. Last night I wanted a blizzard and I was way to lazy to leave the house, so I made up this dairy free cookie dough recipe.

I dare you to try and have just one bite.

I dare you to try and have just one bite.

Ingredient list:

  • 1/2 cup of softened butter (I used plant based butter)

  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup of white sugar

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 3 tbsp of milk (I used cashew milk)

  • 1 tsp of vanilla

  • 1 1/3 cup of flour

  • 3/4 cup of chocolate chips (I used more, I also used chocolate chips, Reese’s Pieces and Skor Bites)

1) Cream together your butter and sugar. Stir in your salt.

2) Add the milk and vanilla. (Note, when I added the plant based milk, it did separate. It was fine once I added the flour though)

3) Take your flour and microwave it on high for 45 seconds.

4) Add flour to your sugar mixture

5) Add all of your fixings

6) Enjoy!
