Turmeric Latte Breakfast Oats
This is such an easy and delicious recipe!
No story- no bullshit - just a delicious breakfast option.
Ingredients:
Chopped apples (half or whole)
Ghee (spoonful)
Turmeric (sprinkle)
Cinnamon (sprinkle)
Ginger (sprinkle)
Cardamom (sprinkle)
Water (1/3 cup + a bit more)
Oat milk ( splash)
Oats (1/3 cup + a bit more)
Directions:
1) Chop up apples to your desired size. I leave the peel on.
2) Add Ghee to a pot on medium heat and add chopped apples. Sprinkle your spices on top of the apple/ghee mixture and sauté until desired softness of Apple. You can cover with a lid to use the steam to cook your apples.
3) Add oats, let toast for a couple of moments while you get your water. Add water, stir. Cover and cook oats.
4) Add desired amount of oat milk and stir until milk has heated and oats have absorbed most of the milk.
5) Serve and add any additional toppings.
